Effective 13th October 2025, employers will be able to cancel work permits with pending fees and fines, provided that the employer agrees via the Xpat System to settle the outstanding payments at a later date.

Please note that the quota slot will only be released once all pending payments are completed.

This update aims to streamline administrative processes and provide greater flexibility for employers managing their employees and permit records through the Xpat System.
